Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson's new album, 20 Years Old, will be released on September 26. The album celebrates the 20th anniversary of Jackson's landmark album Control and re-teams the singer with R&B super-producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The first single, "Call On Me," features an appearance from Nelly and will land at radio next Monday, June 19.

The Raconteurs have released a second video for their hit single "Steady, As She Goes." The new clip features an appearance by Paul Reubens (aka Pee-Wee Herman) and a go-kart race between the four band members. Reubens' character helps bassist Jack Lawrence cheat to defeat his band mates in the race. You can see the video online at Yahoo! Music. The Raconteurs will play European festivals throughout much of June and July, then kick off their first, full North American tour on July 16 in Denver.

Madonna's documentary, I'm Going To Tell You A Secret, will be released next Tuesday, June 20, a week later than previously reported. The DVD is packaged with a live CD which includes performances of "Like A Prayer," "Music," "Holiday" and many other hits. Her Confessions tour continues tomorrow night in Chicago.

The Mars Volta will release their third studio album, Amputechture, sometime later this summer, reports MTV.com. The band will be on the road opening the Red Hot Chili Peppers' entire North America tour, beginning August 11 in Portland, OR. Mars Volta member Omar Rodriguez-Lopez plays on the new Peppers tune "Especially In Michigan" on Stadium Arcadium.

AFI

AFI have won the first-ever MySpace Music Award after the band received half a million single-day listens to their songs on their MySpace page."It's amazing," says guitarist Jade Puget. "It's a testament to both MySpace and to our fans." Their new album, Decemberunderground, is predicted to debut at #1 tomorrow when SoundScan sales numbers are released. AFI's North American tour kicks off on June 13 in Montreal with Nightmare Of You and Dillinger Escape Plan, and currently is scheduled through August 8 in Phoenix, with a handful of Warped Tour appearances in the mix.

The Veronicas have cancelled their North American summer tour, including their opening dates for Ashlee Simpson, due to singer Lisa Origliasso developing nodules on her vocal chords. Her doctors have recommended at least six weeks of rest and recovery. The Veronicas hope to return to the States in the fall.

Atlanta Rap duo Field Mob are giving fans a "Sneak Peek" at their new album, Light Poles And Pine Trees, via over 140 Clear Channel radio stations' Web sites. The full record is streaming online until Sunday, June 18.

Rhino will release the three-disc Willie Nelson box set The Complete Atlantic Sessions next Tuesday, June 20. The set compiles the Red Headed Stranger's entire Atlantic catalog from the 1970s.

Razor & Tie has signed Drive-By Truckers members Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley to a publishing deal, as the first signing to the label's new music publishing division.

The Riverboat Gamblers will open this summer's co-headlining tour from X and the Rollins Band, which kicks off in San Francisco on July 28.

Valient Thorr will release their new album Legend Of The World on July 11. The band is on board for the entire Warped Tour this summer.
