Keeping with a trend felt by WFNY/New York City and WYSP/Philadelphia, WBCN/Boston becomes the latest CBS Radio outlet to get a boost in the ratings from the Opie & Anthony show's return to terrestrial radio. In the just released Arbitrend, the XM Satellite Radio personalities helped move WBCN up in Persons 12+ (1.8 - 2.3), Persons 18-34 (3.5 - 4.5), Persons 25-54 (2.1 - 2.8) and Men 18+ (2.5 - 3.4)
WYSP bumped up in Persons 12+ (1.5 - 2.4), Persons 18-34 (1.8 - 4.1), Persons 25-54 (1.9 - 3.2) and Men 18+ (2.3 - 3.9). At WFNY (Free-FM) in New York City, the O&A show doubled all of the marks left by David Lee Roth, moving 1.1 - 2.3 Persons 12+, good enough to move Free-FM's morning ranking from 23rd to 16th. The program was also up Persons 18-34 (1.4 - 4.2), Persons 25-54 (1.6 - 3.4) and Men 18-34 (1.9 - 4.0).
The just released Arbitrend for New York City includes the first month of the O&A show on Free-FM and the last two months of Roth's tenure. Numbers include the O&A show from 6am - 9am and also the 9am - 10am portion of JV & Elvis (WFNY), The Barsky Show (WYSP) and Adam 12 (WBCN).
