SiriusXM and AT&T have filed a joint proposal to the FCC, proposing a solution to spectrum interference issues between bandwidth used by both companies. According to CNet, there have been concerns over AT&T's unused WCS spectrum, which is in the 2.3 GHz band and the satcaster. As part of the proposal, AT&T agrees to give up about 10MHz of this Wireless Communication Services or WCS spectrum as a "guard band" to prevent interference with SiriusXM's satellite transmission.
