Pandora has announced its latest listening metrics for the month of June. According to the digital music service's data, listener hours for the month of June 2012 reached 1.08 billion, an increase of 77 percent from 605 million during the same period last year. However, Pandora reported 1.1 billion total listening hours in May.

According to Pandora, its share of total U.S. radio listening in June was 5.98 percent, an increase from 3.37 percent at the same time last year. Active listeners were 54.5 million at the end of June 2012, an increase of 51 percent from 36.1 million during June 2010. Both of these numbers are up from Pandora's May data.
