July 13, 2012

Jay-Z has extended his run of concerts at the Barclays Center, the new home of the Brooklyn Nets. Originally set to play three shows this fall at the arena, Jay is now slated for eight concerts in total, between September 28 and October 6.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber have been ranked as the two highest-earning celebrities under the age of 30 by Forbes. The top six celebrities on the list were all musicians. The 22-year-old Swift brought in $57 million between May 2011 and May 2012, followed by Bieber with $55 million. Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry were ranked #3-5 on the Forbes list, with Adele at #6. Lil Wayne was ranked #8.

Muse has revealed the tracklisting for their forthcoming album, The 2nd Law, which is due on September 18. The record contains a total of 13 tracks, including the recent single, "Survival." Other song titles include "Supremacy," "Madness" and "Panic Station." Frontman Matt Bellamy has previously said that The 2nd Law will be "very diverse."

Silversun Pickups have announced their first round of headlining tour dates behind their new album Neck Of The Woods. After primarily playing festival dates this summer, the Silverlake rockers will kick off their new leg of dates in Calgary, Alberta on September 1, with shows announced up to September 20 in Minneapolis. Silversun Pickups will also be a part of the Voodoo Experience festival in New Orleans in late October.

Madonna will drop a new video for "Turn Up the Radio" on Monday. The summery track, produced by Martin Solveig, is the third single off Madge's MDNA album. She shot the clip in Florence, Italy earlier this summer.

Mötley Crüe will be offering up 24 hours of free "Sex" with their first new original song in almost four years on Monday, July 16 via their website: www.motley.com. "What better way to give back to our loyal fans who have been with us for over three decades than free 'Sex?'" said Nikki Sixx. "We can't wait to play the new song every night on The Tour this summer." Mötley Crüe will be launching The Tour, their co-headlining jaunt with KISS, on July 20 in Bristow, VA. The more than 40-city North American trek marks the first time Mötley Crüe and KISS are sharing the same stage since 1982.

Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie are hitting the road together this fall, co-headlining the Twins of Evil tour. Kicking off September 28 when both Zombie and Manson co-headline the first day of the Desert Uprising Festival in Phoenix, the tour will wrap in Dallas on Halloween. J Devil, the DJ alter ego of KoRn frontman Jonathan Davis, will be the supporting act. "Why did the most obvious tour take so long to happen? Who knows? Who cares? It's happening now," stated Zombie. "If good taste is the chief enemy of great art, then we should be able to fill the Louvre with this f**king tour." Manson added, "I have sympathy for the Whore of Babylon that gave birth to these twins of evil, and this abomination of a tour. There is no babysitter, and there is no repairing her womb."

B.o.B. will play a MySpace Secret Show at New York's Highline Ballroom on Sunday, July 22. Free tickets will be given away at the Highline Ballroom during regular box office hours starting today at 11 a.m. EST on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Beanie Sigel will be the first artist to release music on the newly revived Ruffhouse Records. Sigel's upcoming album, This Time, will be released August 28 to launch a new distribution deal between Ruffhouse and EMI Label Services. The first single, "The Reunion," shipped to radio this week.
