P!nk: "I'm Consumed By My Emotions"

P!nk recently revealed the full tracklist for her new album, The Truth About Love, and it boasts such angry song titles as "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)," "How Come You’re Not Here" and "Slut Like You." Now that the singer is happily married with a one-year-old daughter, where did all this vitriol come from?

"It's very easy for me to tap into 'go f**k yourself,'" P!nk told Rolling Stone in a new interview. "Maybe that's the only way I feel powerful. I'm in the best place I've ever been in my life, and I'd say it's 80 percent happiness and 20 percent sheer confusion and fear that I'll f**k it up somehow. I'm consumed by my emotions."

The singer also has said in recent interviews that her sixth album is a mixed bag, offering elements of Rock & Roll, R&B and radio-friendly Pop. There is also the track "Beam Me Up," which P!nk describes as "my acoustic song that I do on every record," and the ballad "The Great Escape," about how the whole world seems to be on antidepressants.

"My goal on this record was to incorporate a little more musicality," the singer explained. "Every album, I'm worried that I'm a dork and a fraud – what if I can't sing anymore? Then I stop thinking and start playing guitar, and I realize that it's okay to suck, and move forward. Then it clicks and I'm like, 'I'm f**king awesome!'"

The Truth About Love is slated to come out on September 18.
