Joe Calgaro is named PD at WHQG/Milwaukee, replacing the recently exited Keith Hastings. Calgaro joins from the PD seat at Rock WAPL/Appleton.

Clear Channel-Boston announces the debut of WXKS-AM Matty’s Comedy 1200. Matt Siegel, of WXKS-FM's national award-winning show Matty in the Morning, will anchor the station. Matty’s Comedy 1200 launched today at 8:30 a.m. and will be the first Boston radio station to feature 24/7 comedy. On November 7, the City Of Hope will roast John Ivey, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment SVP/Programming. The event will take place at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.

Amazon is reportedly working to launch a feature that will populate its Cloud Player accounts with tracks from physical CDs purchased on Amazon, just as the site's MP3 purchases currently show up in a buyer's Cloud account. The new feature could launch this fall, and at least two major labels have already agreed to terms with Amazon to populate locker accounts with CD tracks, according to Billboard.com.

Cumulus Media Networks announces the launch of Geraldo Rivera's syndicated radio show, Geraldo. Geraldo will broadcast live on weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon ET. Sixty radio stations across the country have committed to air the show – 45 at launch today and at least half a dozen more being added over coming months.

Sirius XM Radio and BuzzFeed have announced the launch of BuzzFeed Radio, a live, weekly, call-in show on which the editors of the social news organization BuzzFeed will dissect, discuss and offer a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration, reaction and creative process behind the week's biggest viral sensations. BuzzFeed Radio will launch on Tuesday, August 14 at 6 p.m. ET on SiriusXM Stars Too (channel 104) and be hosted by Sports Editor Jack Moore and Senior Editor Whitney Jefferson.
