Fitz and The Tantrums
Fitz and The Tantrums will kick off an extensive summer headline tour on June 8 in Hampton Beach, NH, which includes a stop at Tennessee's Bonnaroo Music Festival (June 12-15). The band has dates scheduled through July 30 in Sioux Falls, SD. The group, which is touring in support of its latest album, More Than Just a Dream, also will perform on Late Night with Seth Meyers on April 9 and TODAY on April 10. Fitz and The Tantrums' episode of Live from the Artists Den, filmed at the newly reopened Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, premieres on public television in April.

The Roots, Tamar Braxton, K. Michelle, Tank, and Michelle Williams are among the latest additions to the 2014 Essence Festival, which will be held in New Orleans from July 4-6. As previously announced, other headliners include Prince, Lionel Richie, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson, and Erykah Badu.

Against Me! has extended their spring headlining tour to include additional U.S. dates throughout May. The tour will culminate in a performance at the Ventura Theater in Ventura, CA on May 27. The band will also be performing as part of Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas on May 26. Support on the May tour will be provided by Tony Molina and Big Eyes.

Gwar's annual one-day GWAR-B-Q festival, scheduled for August 16 at Hadad's Lake in Richmond, VA, will go on as planned despite the passing of frontman Dave Brockie. The band also has scheduled a public memorial for Brockie the day prior to the GWAR-B-Q, August 15, also at Hadad's Lake. Brockie was found dead in his home on Sunday at the age of 50. Band manager Jack Flanagan issued an update to fans which reads: "On behalf of Dave Brockie's family, Slave Pit Inc. and GWAR, we would like to thank all the loyal fans worldwide for the outpouring of love and support shown to us over the past few days. Knowing that we have such amazing family, friends and fans is truly helping us all get through this tough time. We are awaiting a toxicology report from the medical examiners office to confirm the cause of death. The medical examiners office has informed us that the results can take one to three months to be processed... We have made funeral arrangements and a private memorial has been scheduled for close friends and family."

Three Days Grace guitarist Barry Stock has launched MEAN Clothing Company. Stock's company offers a line of "Rock Music/Military Inspired" clothing, jewelry and a wide range of accessories.
