Kendrick Lamar has officially announce the name and track list for his new album, due out Friday. DAMN. features 13 tracks, all one word and in all caps. As rumored, U2 is credited on a song, titled "XXX," but it still unknown if it is a sample or a newly recorded contribution. Rihanna appears on "LOYALTY." DAMN. arrives two days before Lamar's headlining set at Coachella.
Spotify Global Head of Creative Services Troy Carter has been named as entertainment advisor for Prince's estate. Billboard reports Carter will remain in his position at Spotify. Carter rose to prominence as Lady Gaga's manager. He will work with Prince's family as well as Comerica Bank to oversee the late music icon's estate. Prince passed away almost exactly one year ago, on April 21, 2016.
Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have teamed up for a new side project with an album due out in June. Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie arrives on June 9 via Atlantic and the duo will also hit the road for a short tour in June and July. The tour begins on June 21 in Atlanta and wraps up July 27 in Denver. Their first single, "In My World," will be available this Friday, April 14.
Panic! at the Disco main man Brendon Urie is making his Broadway debut later this year as part of the cast of Kinky Boots. Urie will play the main character Charlie Price and perform in the musical from May 26 through August 6. Panic! is wrapping up their current touring this Saturday in Sunrise, FL.
