Just how long will the Rage Against The Machine reunion last? After the announcement that the political rockers would headline the Coachella Festival next month, they were added to three of the Rock The Bells tour dates this summer. But will there be more performances down the road?Guitarist Tom Morello tells Billboard, "Right now there are four shows booked... that's all that's on the docket." However, he adds that, "These times, I think, demand a voice like Rage Against the Machine to return. Rage was certainly the most outspoken radical voice in music in the '90s, and the seven years that Rage was away the country went to hell. So I think it's overdue that we're back."
He adds that the band is currently in rehearsals and "it sounds awesome in the room. We remember how to play those songs; it's pretty much like riding a bike."
Morello will release his solo album, One Man Revolution, as his alter ego The Nightwatchman, on April 28. He will be touring extensively throughout the year in support, with appearances at Coachella, Bonnaroo and an opening slot for Ben Harper.
