Noncommercial Triple A WXPN/Philadelphia names Jim McGuinn as its new afternoon drive host effective April 16. McGuinn replaces David Dye whose schedule is being freed up so that he can focus more attention on the nationally syndicate World Café program. McGuinn, the former PD for Y100 (WPLY), first joined WXPN in August of 2006 as PD and on-air host for Y-Rock On XPN. McGuinn will continue to serve as PD for Y-Rock On XPN.
Wilks Broadcasting Group announces the new management structure for its four station Kansas City cluster consisting of CHR KMXV, AC KCKC, and Country outlets KFKF and KBEQ: KFKF Sales Manager Mike Rowen rises to Market Manager, Mike Kennedy is promoted from Director of Programming to VP/Programming/Operations, Controller Mark Zirkle is upped to VP/Controller, and KCKC APD/morning man Luke Jensen is elevated to PD at KCKC.
RCA Music Group announces the following promotion department field appointments: Dana Baccino segues from Dallas promo duties for Midwest promotion activities. Baccino replaces Josh Reich, who moves to Chicago as National Top 40 Field Director. West Coast promotion assistant Ko-Fung Shih relocates to Dallas and will cover all promo efforts in Texas.
AC WIKY/Evansville welcomes Mark Elliott for PD/afternoon duties. Elliott joins from the PD post at Classic Hits WFCX-WFDX/Traverse City.
Magic City Broadcasting-Panama City names Chris Alan Director of Programming of its five station cluster. Alan, who was most recently PD at CHR WAEV/Savannah, will now oversee CHR WILN, Rock WYYX, AC WVVE, Talk WYOO and Sports WPCF-AM.

Bob Barker will utilize his skinny microphone to sing the praises of WKQX (Q101)/Chicago's morning show, The Morning Fix, in a new ad campaign. The campaign is playing off Barker's mission to "have your pets spayed or neutered"...or therefore, "fixed." The Morning Fix ads begin in May, while Barker retires from The Price Is Right in June.

Three Eagles Communications is buying twelve Clear Channel spinoffs in the Mankoto, MN; Mason City, IA; and Fort Dodge, IA markets. Mankato properties include Classic Rock KXLP, Sports KYSM-AM and Country KYSM. In Mason City it's Adult Standards KCHA-AM, AC KCHA, Country KCZE, Talk KGLO-AM, Country KIAI, Classic Rock KLKK and CHR KSMA. Fort Dodge stations are Hot AC KKEZ and Country KWMT-AM.
Warner Music Group signs an agreement with video distribution service Joost, to provide content from WMG artists for Joost video channels. WMG and Joost will share ad revenue from the music video channels starring Warner artists.
