Tom Kay, Executive Director of The Conclave, is the recipient of the 2011 Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame Distinguished Service Award. The presentation was made on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame Gala.
 
Cumulus names Stu Gorlick Market Manager of its four station cluster in Danbury, CT. Gorlick was most recently VP of Sales at its Hudson Valley, NY stations. Replacing Gorlick will be Aaron Hyland, who joins from the same position at the Cumulus-Ft. Walton Beach, FL cluster. 
 
Gina Lee Fuentez exits the afternoon post at CHR/Rhythmic KQKS/Denver.

KBOQ/Monterey makes the switch from Classical to AC as B103.9 Playing All The Songs You Remember.
 
Hot AC KCDU/Monterey adds the Alan Kabel Show for mornings.

At Urban AC WFUN/St. Louis, Chaz Saunders joins for middays and DJ Cut arrives for the night shift.
 
Changes at WQSH/Albany: New PD Terry O'Donnell takes over the midday shift, afternoon talent Ellen Rockwell exts and is replaced by Darwin.
 
AC WEZW/Atlantic City has gone to an all-holiday format.

Radio promo vet Brett Greenberg joins Crush Management as the company's new VP of Radio Promotions. Crush co-founder Bob McLynn commented, "We're psyched to have Brett on board with us.  It's not just about radio - he has real passion for the music and the artist, which embodies the Crush mentality." Crush handles such diverse acts as  Train, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Travie McCoy & Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, Sia, Butch Walker and others.

Inner City Media Corp. has hired Robert J. Maccini as its Chief Restructuring Officer, as the company is currently in bankruptcy court.

AccuRadio is offering locally branded, personalizable, multichannel Christmas music radio stations to broadcasters. Stations will be able to choose up to 12 channels from AccuRadio’s 45 available Christmas-themed channels, including channels dedicated to virtually every significant musical genre.  A title-level sponsorship of each of the 12 channels can be sold to a different local advertiser, for a total of 12 lead sponsorship opportunities.
