Charese Fruge Named PD Of KXTE/Las Vegas

Charese Fruge
CBS Radio-Las Vegas appoints Charese Fruge as PD of Modern Rock KXTE (X107.5). Fruge will continue to serve as PD of sister KMXB (Mix 94.1) as well as programming KSCF (Sophie @ 103.7)/San Diego. She replaces Jim Trapp at KXTE.

"Charese is an extraordinary program director and we look forward to extending her proven talents across both stations and their digital platforms," said Jerry McKenna, SVP/Market Manager, CBS Radio-Las Vegas.

Fruge added, "I am truly excited to work in a format I have always been passionate about in such an awesome city. I am honored that the CBS Radio management team has such faith in me and can't wait to work with the KXTE team."

In related news, Heather Converse joins Mix 94.1 as midday host and Programming Coordinator. Fruge added, "We are extremely lucky to have found such a great talent. Heather brings to the table experience with imaging, music and programming as well as on-air. She will be a huge addition to the programming department."
