Kevin Waltman exits as Market Manager at Clear Channel-Tallahasse for a similar post for Cumulus-Montgomery. Waltman, who will now oversee the seven-station group, replaces John Rodriguez.

Part-time talent Mike Allan is upped to middays at AC WFAS-FM/Westchester replacing Bobby Farrell who remains with the station for weekend duties. Also at the station, Lauren Crocker joins the Jay Michaels Morning Show for co-host duties.

As expected, Jim Richards has been named OM of Merlin Media-Chicago's Rock stations: longtime Classic Rock WLUP (The Loop) and recently-launched Modern Rock WKQX (Q87.7).

Hot AC WLNK and Talk WBT-AM/Charlotte enlists the services of Billy Black as its new Imaging Director. Black is inbound from the PD/morning host/Imaging Director post at WRXR/Chattanooga.

Yahoo! has announced a number of executive changes, most notably that CEO Scott Thompson is leaving, following the revelation that he had lied on his resume about having a degree in computer science. Yahoo!'s global media leader Ross Levinsohn has been promoted to interim CEO. Fred Amoroso is also named Chairman of the Board, replacing Roy Bostock. Bostock was one of five board members who have resigned.
