Carolina Bermudez announced on-air this morning that she will be exiting Elvis Duran & The Morning Show for a new gig in television. After Duran teased a big announcement at 7:40 a.m, Bermudez spent some time talking about her decision while Elvis read tweets and Facebook messages wishing Bermudez well. Bermudez was emotional in making the announcement and even took calls from listeners. She also tweeted, "After many amazing years with @elvisduranshow I'll be leaving to pursue an incredible opportunity in TV. Can't wait to tell you where soon!" Duran tweeted, "Thanks for laughs, tears and memories @TheRealCarolina. No TV camera needed. You paint pictures with your words so brilliantly. Big Poppa"
