Life Is Good features 14 tracks, with four additional songs on the deluxe edition. Another bonus cut, "Trust," will be an iTunes-only extra track, while a remix of "The Don" will be only available on the Japanese edition.

In a recent interview with MTV, Nas said producer Salaam Remi said Life Is Good reminded him of such classics as Winehouse's Back To Black and The Fugees' The Score. Remi worked on both those records.
