RCA Promotes Wendy Goodman To VP Of Promotion, West Coast Ops & Adult Music
August 9, 2012

Wendy Goodman
Wendy Goodman has been promoted to Vice President of Promotion, West Coast Operations & Adult Music for RCA Records. Goodman previously held the title of VP of Adult Music at RCA. In this expanded role, she will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the promotion team and field staff on the West Coast as well as continuing her role at the adult music format. Goodman will report to Joe Riccitelli, RCA EVP of Promotion, on her additional job responsibilities and continue to report to Adrian Moreira, RCA SVP of Promotion for adult radio. Goodman will remain in the company’s Los Angeles office.

Riccitelli says, "Wendy’s vast experience (both field and national) makes her a perfect match for this newly created position. Her relationships with our staff, radio and managers is second to none. I am really excited to see her excel in this new role."

Goodman commented, "I would like to thank Tom Corson, Peter Edge and Joe Riccitelli for this amazing opportunity to expand my role into leading the promotion team on the West Coast. I am also thrilled to continue my duties as Vice President of Adult Music under the leadership of Adrian Moreira. It is a real honor to carry on my professional journey at RCA Records, especially since I have been a part of the team since the inception of J Records in September 2000.  I look forward to embark on this incredible next step in my career."

Goodman joined J Records when it was founded in 2000 as Southwest Regional Promotion Director in Dallas and moved to Los Angeles when she was promoted to Director, Adult Formats in 2004. In 2006, Goodman was promoted to VP of Promotion, Adult Formats at RCA Music Group, where she was instrumental in the radio campaigns for Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Sarah McLachlan, Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, Dido, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Dave Matthews Band and others.

Beginning her career at Maverick Records in 1995, Goodman was part of the team that broke Alanis Morissette, Deftones and Prodigy. After Maverick, she worked as the Southwest Regional Promotion Manager for C2 Records where she was part of Ricky Martin’s introduction to the U.S. market. From C2, she moved into the Columbia Records promotion department, holding the same position.
