Arbitron has announced its updated market rankings for Fall 2012, and while the top ten markets remained stable, there were a number of changes in the top 100. Most notably, Miami has moved up a position from #12 to become the #11 market in the country, as Detroit is now market #12.
Other re-ranked markets:
Raleigh, NC becomes market #42, trading with Providence, which is now #43. Oklahoma City moves up to #49 and Jacksonville is moved up to #50. Monterey, CA moves up three positions to become market #83. Stockton, CA move up two positions and becomes market #85. Greenville-New Bern-Jacksonville moves down from #83 to become #86. Gainesville, FL is now market #89. Colorado Springs moves up to become market #91 Daytona Beach, FL is now ranked #94.
