WLS-FM/Chicago moves from Oldies to Classic Hits and brings along some of the Windy City's legendary personalities. The jocks include Greg Brown in middays, Brant Miller for morning drive, Dick Biondi in overnights, Fred Winston in PM drive, and John "Records" Landecker hosting evenings.
Morning host Lady La renews her contract with CBS Radio Rhythmic KZON/Phoenix, where she has been since September of 2010.
Talk KFMB-AM/San Diego adds a new show hosted by XM Radio talent and Roger Hedgecock Show producer Brett Winterble. This show fills the void left due to the exit of Michael Savage. Meanwhile, Savage went online over the weekend to broadcast a live video show on Ustream, two days after exiting his Talk Radio Network syndicated show. Savage won his legal bid to split from TRN last week.
Chris Puorro is exiting the PD/OM post at Adult Hits WFRQ/WHYA and Rock WPXC/Cape Cod as of October 5. Puorro will be heading to the University of Central Florida to become Coordinator of Broadcasting.
CBS Sports Radio names Scott Ferrall as host of the network's weekday evening program. Broadcast live from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. ET, Ferrall on the Bench will take listeners through the day's headlines and most talked about topics in sports, generate spirited discussions with callers, and conduct captivating interviews with a variety of special guests. CBS Sports Radio will make its 24/7 debut on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
