Atlanta radio veteran Chris Williams has joined Clear Channel Cincinnati as OM of the company's cluster. Williams will serve as PD of long-standing Rock station WEBN, as well as overseeing the recently-launched Alternative sibling, The Project 100.7/106.3. In addition to his new title, Williams will remain in his role as Clear Channel's National Brand Coordinator for Active Rock Formats as well as the Active Rock Premium Choice PD. Williams most recently programmed Clear Channel Active Rocker WKLS/Atlanta until it flipped to Top 40 just over a month ago.
"Chris was chosen for his programming skills and knowledge so that he can continue to evolve 102.7 WEBN as an iconic entertainment brand," stated Chuck Fredrick, President/Market Manager, CCM+E Cincinnati. "Chris's focus on leading Frog Nation, along with Scott Reinhart's new programming efforts with 700 WLW and our sports platforms, makes this a legendary team."
"Clear Channel Cincinnati is an amazing cluster," added Williams. "Among its top-rated stations is WEBN, a landmark rock station with a rich history. It is a privilege to have this opportunity to contribute to the cluster's legacy and to make a positive impact on the next generation of rock fans."
