Clear Channel Rocker WEBN/Cincinnati announces that KiddChris will take over mornings, starting tomorrow (October 4). The KiddChris Show will be heard weekdays from 5:30-9 a.m, hosted by Chris "KiddChris" Foley and his longtime sidekick, Thomas, as well as their crew of morning show characters. Foley, a former contributor to The Howard Stern Show, has anchored morning shows across the country, with The KiddChris Show most recently broadcasting on WYSP/Philadelphia and WKLS (Project 9-6-1)/Atlanta, which flipped formats in August.
"We’re thrilled for The KiddChris Show to hit the airwaves in Cincinnati and entertain Frog Nation every weekday morning," said Chuck Fredrick, President/Market Manager, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment-Cincinnati.
"WEBN is an iconic station and being a part of its legacy is an honor," said Foley. "I'm excited to get to know the people of Cincinnati, while also entertaining and engaging them with our slightly chaotic and absurd morning show."
Last month, KiddChris spilled the beans to Stern on his SiriusXM show that he would be joining WEBN soon. The move reunites him with Chris Williams, who had been programming Project 9-6-1 in Atlanta and was officially named OM for Clear Channel's Cincinnati cluster on Monday.
