Ann McManus is named RVP for Cumulus Media's Northeast markets which includes Bridgeport and New London/Connecticut and Poughkeepsie and Westchester/New York. Since 2002, McManus had been serving as the VP/Market Manager for WEBE and WICC/Bridgeport.

Hot AC KMBQ/Wasilla PD Chuck Geiger adds morning duties as he'll team with middayer Wendy Corbin for The New Q Waking Crew, starting November 1. As a result, John Welch moves from mornings to afternoons, while Country sister KVAS/Warrenton morning host Roxie will voicetrack middays.

CHR WIOQ (Q102)/Philadelphia continues to add more acts to its 2012 Jingle Ball lineup, as One Republic and Bridget Mendler were announced on Wednesday as part of the annual concert event. They join Justin Bieber, PSY, Cher Lloyd, The Wanted and Ed Sheeran on December 5. Q102 will announce the rest of the Jingle Ball lineup today at 5:20 p.m. ET.

CCM+E Modern Rock WWDC (DC101)/Washington, D.C. brings aboard Tessa Hall for midday duties. Hall was most recently APD/MD/morning host for CCM+E CHR KSLZ/St. Louis.

Hunter & Josh exit Rock WAQX (95X)/Syracuse and join Rock WKRL (KRock)/Syracuse. The pair will take over mornings starting tomorrow (10/19). Galaxy President/CEO Ed Levine says, "There hasn’t been a local morning show in Syracuse, as long as I can remember, that has started from scratch and has become a top tier program within two years. The fact that these guys have been able to do that with no promotion or marketing backing them is amazing.  They are going to do great things on KRock." Hunter also served as PD of 95X.
     However, with the arrival of Hunter & Josh, KRock PD/midday host Nixon exits, along with morning host Dex Mitchell and night jock Candace Kirby. Nixon is currently looking for his next opportunity and can be reached at smuknuis@gmail.com.

Gary Cox is departing from the EVP/GM post at Kemp Broadcasting-Las Vegas.
 
Dan Yukelson exits as EVP/CFO for Premiere Networks.

Steven W. Newberry, President/CEO of Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation, is elected to Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI)'s Board of Directors. Also re-elected as members of the board were BMI President/CEO Del R. Bryant; Bustos Media President Amador Bustos and Cabo Tres Publishing and PAJ Publishing President Philip A. Jones. All will serve terms that will expire in 2016.

Gerrit Meier, Spotify GM of Distribution and Partnerships, leaves the company after one year.

The Island Def Jam Music Group announces that Akinah Rahmaan will step up and fill the role of VP of Marketing. SVP of Marketing Chris Atlas, to whom Rahmaan will report directly, stated that she will be leaving her role as Sr. Director of Marketing, a title she has held since she first started at IDJ in 2010.

iHeartRadio has begun running promos noting that its custom stations are "commercial-free until April," warning that ads will likely begin on the service's customized stations starting in the springtime.
