As originally reported on Friday, Derrick "DC" Corbett has been named named PD for Urban WUSL (Power 99) & Urban AC WDAS-AM/FM in Philadelphia. His appointment is effective as of December 3.

Corbett will join Clear Channel Media + Entertainment-Philadelphia from CCM+E-New Orleans, where he currently serves as PD at Urban WQUE, Urban AC WYLD-FM and Gospel WYLD-AM. Corbett was also previously Executive Producer of the nationally syndicated Yolanda Adams Morning Show, as well as holding programming management positions for Cumulus in Nashville and Entercom in Norfolk, VA.

"Derrick is a perfect fit for our formats and competitive situation in Philadelphia," said OM Brian Check. "We know he will be a great programming asset for our stations and are hoping he can repeat his history of ratings success."
