Coldplay
Coldplay has announced three U.S. shows at the end of December, including a special co-headlining New Year's Eve show with Jay-Z at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. The Brit-rock superstars will also play Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT on December 29 and their own headlining show at Barclays Center on December 30.

The Rolling Stones have also added a concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, as the Rock legends continue to expand their anniversary tour. The Stones will perform at the new venue on December 8. The Stones already have a pair of show in Newark, NJ slated for December 13 and 15.

Rihanna has revealed the cities on her upcoming 777 Tour, which she will play seven cities in seven days. While the specific venues won't be announced until the day of each concert, Rihanna will visit Mexico City (11/14), Toronto (11/15), Stockholm (11/16), Paris (11/17), Berlin (11/18), London (11/19), and New York City (11/20).
"I am so excited about the 777 Tour," Rihanna said in a statement. "We are turning this jumbo jet into our tour bus. We're practically living on this thing for a week: sleeping, partying, all together. Me, my fans, the press... it's going to be a wild ride. I wanted it to be a rock n' roll adventure, and I think when it's over it will be the coolest thing I've ever done. I'm that excited about it."

Kelly Clarkson and PSY are the latest performers added to the lineup of the 40th annual American Music Awards. The AMAs will be handed out this Sunday, November 18 on ABC. Even more performers are expected to be announced this week.

Matchbox Twenty have announced an extensive North American tour for 2013 in support of their latest album North. The first leg of the tour kicks off in Tulsa, OK on January 29 with dates announced up to March 30 in Indio, CA. North is the pop-rock band's first new album in a decade and debuted at #1 on the SoundScan/Billboard chart earlier this year.

Sir Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy were reportedly in a serious helicopter accident over the weekend. British newspaper The Daily Mail reports the couple were in a helicopter that fell from the air due to bad weather, but the pilot narrowly avoided hitting the tree tops before landing at a nearby airport.

Rockers Shinedown and Three Days Grace will team up for a co-headlining tour early next year. The trek kicks off February 1 in Moline, IL with dates announced up to February 20 in Lowell, MA, though more shows are expected to be added. P.O.D. will open all dates.

Led Zeppelin's Celebration Day concert film will get an encore screening nationwide at theaters on Tuesday, November 13. Visit ledzeppelin.com for a complete new list of theaters and showtimes around the country.

According to reports, INXS plan to officially break up soon, after drummer Jon Farriss said onstage during an Australian concert the band was splitting. Following the death of frontman Michael Hutchence in 1997, the band reunited and carried on with a number of fill-in singers, most notably J.D. Fortune, who won the slot via a realty show. Billboard reports that an announcement on INXS' future is forthcoming as soon as tomorrow (11/13).

Blink-182 is expected to release a new EP in time for Christmas, according to tweets from the members of the band. Mark Hoppus wrote last week, "We're releasing some new blink-182 songs in a few weeks. Watch this space." Tom DeLonge added, "New Blink EP for x mas..." It would be the trio's first release since splitting with Interscope Records.

My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James will release a solo record, Regions Of Light And Sound Of God, via ATO Records on February 5. James has released the track "Know Til Now" online via JimJames.com. It is James' first solo full-length release.

Morrissey has rescheduled and expanded his North American tour dates, which were recently postponed so the singer could return to England to be with his ailing mother. The new round of dates begin in Greenvale, NY on January 9 and run up to March 8 in Portland, OR.

Ben Folds Five have expanded their reunion tour with a West Coast leg of touring for 2013. Thus far, six shows have been announced for late January and early February, with more to be added.
