Morning radio has taken evening television by storm thanks to Dish Nation, an entertainment news show that began airing on FOX television affiliates in September. Dish Nation spotlights four morning radio shows, including WPLJ/New Yorks The Big Show with Scott & Todd, Atlantas syndicated Rickey Smiley Morning Show, Dallas Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, and WDVD/Detroit's Blaine & Allyson in The Morning. The man who created this idea is Stu Weiss, the Executive Producer of Dish Nation, who began his own career in radio several decades ago. Weiss is now a veteran of the television world, but since radio remains his first love, he was inspired to start a TV show based on the medium.
