WODS (103.3 AMP Radio)/Boston names Joe Breezy as its MD/PM drive host. Breezy, who starts on 12/13, most recently was APD/MD/afternoon host at Hip Hop WWVA/Atlanta.

Pandora officially launched in Australia and New Zealand on Monday. The popular digital music service has curated genre stations of Australian and New Zealand-specific music across a variety of genres. Pandora Founder/Chief Strategy Officer Tim Westergren said, "After years of preparation and anticipation we are absolutely thrilled to fully launch Pandora internationally in Australia and New Zealand. Personalized radio is a wonderful medium for listeners to enjoy music they know and discover music they'll love. Now we begin the incredibly exciting process of connecting the 100,000-plus working musicians in the Pandora catalog with millions of new listeners. What an amazing opportunity."

The ongoing saga of Jammie Thomas-Rasset's legal battle against file sharing charges continues. CNet reports that her lawyers have filed a petition asking the Supreme Court to review her case, which has spent the past five years moving through the legal system. In September, the Eighth Circuit Court reinstated the fee of $222,000 to be paid to the RIAA. Her lawyers now say the court did not fully consider earlier cases on these kinds of damages.

The New York Post reports that VEVO and YouTube could reach a new agreement by the end of 2012. VEVO's contract with YouTube officially ended on Sunday (12/9), but both sides are reportedly still in talks. The two sides could reach a completely new deal, or simply extend their old agreement. Ad revenue sharing has reportedly been the sticking point all along in the negotiations between the online video sites.
