CHR WODS (103.3 AMP Radio)/Boston names TJ Taormina its new morning host. Taormina, who will start in April, joins from the syndicated Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. "TJ is a unique talent, with a passion for radio that is unmatched. I'm thrilled that 103.3 AMP Radio is able to bring him to Boston, and I am positive he will be a cornerstone for our success in the future," said PD Dan Mason. "The chance to join the AMP team in Boston and host the morning show is a life-long dream come true!" said Taormina. "I look forward to working with the entire CBS Radio team to make the morning show on AMP a powerhouse, 'can't-miss' show."

Has Beasley Rhythmic CHR WRDW (Wired 96.5)/Philly found its new morning show? Could be…according to a note posted on the Wired's website morning show page. The guy pictured on site amongst a new cast & crew sure looks like former XHTZ (Z90)/San Diego Morning co-host Chunky, who has been in the rumor mill about heading east. Chunky, who had reportedly been hanging out making cheesesteaks at the famous Pat's Steaks, even jumped on air with morning holdovers Tingle and JP... so does Philly now have a new morning show? According to the post it sure looks like a show in the making! "We're starting a morning show. We're seriously bored of just giving away prizes & playing music in the morning. SO WE TOOK IT UPON OURSELVES... to recruit our sales girl Ghia & our dude that makes our Cheesesteaks at Pat's Chunky (against our boss's wishes). He wanted us to just shut up and play music... we want to give you more! Dan doesn't know we posted this on our website as of now. #ShutUpDan WE WANT A SHOW!!!" There's been no official word or comment yet from Wired PD Dan Hunt on the morning show mayhem going down in the City of Brotherly Love. Stay Tuned!

CHR KHFI/Austin will be adding the syndicated Elvis Duran and the Morning Show starting 2/18 with a week of "best of" shows, while the regular weekday shows will debut on 2/25.

Patrick Grey is tapped for nights at CHR WBQW/Portland, ME. Grey arrives from CHR/Rhythmic WJFX/Ft. Wayne.

At Modern Rock WTGZ/Auburn-Montgomery, AL, Chris Rock (not that one) returns to the station for nights.

Cumulus' new Country station, WNSH (NASH FM 94.7)/New York will host NASH BASH: Three Big Nights of Live Music with Country's Biggest Stars. Among the acts appearing are headliners Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum and Sara Evans. Kix Brooks will serve as host for all three shows. "The response to launching New York City’s only Country radio station last month has been amazing and we’re excited about this opportunity to let our listeners celebrate with top Country acts as we roll out NASH nationwide," said Lew Dickey, CEO of Cumulus.
