Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has revealed that the Pop star has been injured over the span of many performances and had been trying her best to conceal it from the public. Gaga tweeted "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal." The injury she has is synovitis, which is a severe inflammation of the joints. She added in another tweet, "I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans." The pain has been so significant that she has been unable to walk after her last performance. Gaga lamented to say that her doctor ordered that she must postpone three dates from her current North American tour, Born This Way Ball, in Chicago, Detroit, and Hamilton, Ontario.

The nominees for Nickelodeon's 2013 Kids Choice Awards have been unveiled and in the music categories, Taylor Swift and One Direction each have two nods. Swift is up for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song ("We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"), while One Direction is nominated for Favorite Music Group and Favorite Song ("What Makes You Beautiful"). Other music nominees include Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Usher, Adele, Katy Perry, P!nk and Carly Rae Jepsen. The awards will be handed out on March 23.

Two out of three headliners of the 2013 Hangout Music Fest have been announced: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Kings of Leon. A third headliner will later be announced for the event, which takes place May 17-19 in Gulf Shores, AL. Some other bands to appear at the diverse five-stage festival include The Roots, The Trey Anastasio Band, The Black Crowes, Public Enemy, The Shins, Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, Passion Pit, BASSNECTAR, Steve Akoi, Slightly Stoopid, Bloc Party, Gov't MuleJim James, Porter Robinson, moe., Galactic, Dirty Projectors, Grouplove, Toots and the Maytals and many more.

Rapper Kid Cudi has announced on Twitter that his next and third album, Indicud, is set for release on April 23. He criticized his label last month for neglecting to get the first two singles what he considered ample radio time.  He has also claimed that the LP "will be the greatest album ever made."

Warner Bros. Records will be showcasing some of their roster's most popular artists with "The Warner Sound Captured by Nikon" at the SXSW music festival. Some of the artists include Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (who currently have the #1 song in the country with "Thrift Shop"), The Flaming Lips and Paramore. Other WMG artists being featured are Tegan and Sara, Alt-J, The Joy Formidable, Fitz & the Tantrums, Lianne La Havas and Delta Rae. All shows performed during the evening will be streamed live on The Warner Sound's YouTube page, and fans will be getting some behind-the-scene action from several artists using Nikon's newest Wi-Fi cameras.

Filmmaker and heavy-rocker Rob Zombie will be releasing his fifth solo album, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, on April 23 via Zodiac Swan/T-Boy/UMe. The album will include the first single "Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Super Town," among other horror-stylized titles like "Lucifer Rising," "Behold! The Pretty Filthy Creatures" and a Zombified version of Grand Funk Railroad’s "We’re An American Band."

Yeah Yeah Yeahs have released a second teaser video for their upcoming new album Mosquito. The band has also added a SXSW performance as part of the NPR Music showcase on Wednesday, March 13. Mosquito will be released on April 16. You can see the video teaser below:

Rockers Escape The Fate will release their new studio album, Ungrateful, on May 14 via Eleven Seven Music. The band will unveil the video for the lead single, which is the title track, in early March.
