Kelly Clarkson
Following the release of Clive Davis' new autobiography yesterday, Kelly Clarkson took to her blog to revisit the he said-she said issues surrounding her time working with the industry legend. Clarkson said she was responding to what Davis wrote about her in his book, claiming that "his stories and songs are mixed up." Clarkson added that Davis "completely sabotaged" her 2007 album My December in front of staffers at RCA. Davis responded with his own statement online, saying that, "As anyone who has read The Soundtrack of My Life knows, I think Kelly Clarkson is a tremendous vocal talent and performer. In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences. I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together." He added that five fact checkers went over the contents of his book and stands by its contents.

Canadian Pop sensations Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen lead the nominees for Canada's 2013 Juno Awards. Jepsen is up for five awards while Bieber is up for four, and they will go head-to-head in four categories: best artist, best album, best pop album and fan choice. Other multi-nominees for Canada's equivalent to the Grammys include Billy Talent, Hedley, Leonard Cohen, Marianas Trench, Metric and Rush. Juno organizers also announced that Jepsen, as well as Michael Buble, will perform at the ceremony, which will be held April 21 at the Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Chris Brown
announced yesterday that he is working on a new and sixth studio album, set to be released later this year.  He will be working with producers Timbaland and Danja, both of whom worked on his Grammy-nominated album Fortune. He will also be working with Diplo, who worked with him on his 2011 album F.A.M.E. Title and exact release date have not yet been announced. MTV News reports that it has also been confirmed by Brown's representative that he and Rihanna are working on new music together.

Frank Ocean already has eleven tracks laid down for his next album and also intends to get in the studio with producer/musician Danger Mouse after his vacation. Ocean told BBC Radio 1 about the upcoming album, "It's another cohesive thing bordering on a concept record again." The musician plans to continue work on the road, having said, "I'm going to Bora Bora when I get back... I put a studio in my house, but it's all in road cases. I'm going to take it all to Bora Bora and work for a few weeks." Ocean recently stated in a New York Times Magazine profile that he intended to move to Shanghai for two years to write new music and finish a novel that he is working on, though it would seem that his plans have been altered. Meanwhile, Depeche Mode singer Dave Gahan revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Ocean crossed paths in the studio with his band recently as well. Gahan says that Ocean recorded a new track with Depeche Mode's Martin Gore and producer Christoffer Berg which could also appear on Ocean's next record.

Beyoncé's self-directed Life Is But a Dream documentary topped HBO's ratings, making it the most viewed HBO documentary since Nielsen altered the means in which it measures viewership in 2004. She pulled in a record 1.8 million viewers, topping Spike Lee's 2006 miniseries on Hurricane Katrina, When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, which brought in 1.7 million viewers. The documentary also pulled in ratings three-times higher than recent episodes of HBO's show Girls. Not only did her documentary set a new record, but her interview with Oprah on the OWN network reached just over 1.3 million viewers, which was aired shortly before the documentary.

Pearl Jam's debut album Ten has delivered the band into the prestigious 10-million-sellers club in the U.S. Ten was released back in 1991 off Epic Records; it is the 22nd album to reach such a milestone since Nielsen SoundScan started tracking data in the same year the album was released. Ten is the fourth album to hit 10 million sales in the U.S. since the start of 2012.

Justin Bieber isn't quite done with Believe.  Though he has already topped the charts again with his Believe Acoustic album, he confirmed on Twitter that he's going back to his 2012 album to drop his collaboration with Drake, "Right Here," as the next single from the album. Both Canadian performers consider each other to be pals, Bieber told MTV, "We talk about everything," while discussing their recording session. They will, however, be competing for a number of Juno Fan Choice Awards.
