As rumors swirl around the future of The Tonight Show, Howard Stern re-ignited the story that he is a contender to host the venerable NBC talk show. On his SiriusXM show Wednesday morning, Stern claimed he's going to "take over the Tonight Show" and that he had been told by an NBC executive that he's "got to take over the show," according to EW. A source told EW that there are no such talks between NBC and the King Of All Media. Especially since later on Wednesday, rumors hit the press that NBC could move The Tonight Show to New York, but with Jimmy Fallon as host.

Early data from the survey shows that time spent listening to all forms of online radio (AM/FM station streams and Internet-only audio) is now a self-reported 11 hours 56 minutes per week among online radio listeners, which is up by more than two hours since last year and nearly double what was reported in 2008.
