MD/afternoon host Ross Mahoney rises to PD at Alternative WRMR/Wilmington.

Mary K. exits the PD post at Summit Media CHR/Rhythmic WHZT and Urban WJMZ/Greenville-Spartanburg. Newly minted Summit Media-Greenville/Spartanburg OM Mark Shands will handle programming chores at WHZT and WJMZ.

Journal Broadcast Group-Tulsa taps programming vet Jules Riley for OM duties for its five station cluster. Riley, who most recently served as a consultant at Folger Media, will have oversight of Country KVOO, Classic Country KXBL, Adult Hits KBEZ, CHR KHTT and Talk KFAQ-AM. Riley fills the void following Brian Gann's exit to Clear Channel-San Antonio in January.

Congratulations to New York radio legend and Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3) morning host Jim Kerr who is celebrating 40 years of being on-air in New York City. "Jim Kerr is a New York City and nationwide rock radio legend," said Eric Wellman, PD, Q104.3 "30 years ago his show was a Top 10 morning show in the country and today he's still in the Top 10."

At CCM+E CHR WWPW/Atlanta, Riley comes on board for mornings with Scott Kay. Riley is inbound from mornings as part of CCM+E CHR WRVW/Nashville's Woody And Jim Show and she also tracked the night show.

Emmis Radio-Indianapolis announces the following promotions: Fritz Moser is now PD for Country WLHK (HANK-FM), Bob Richards is now VP of Programming for Emmis-Indianapolis and Tracey Bean is now VP of Sales for Emmis-Indianapolis.

Entravision Communications Corporation announces the appointment of Rich Ripley to VP of Integrated Marketing Solutions for the Sacramento market. In his role, Ripley will be responsible for sales efforts on Entravision’s radio, digital and mobile properties and marketing services in the Sacramento market. Ripley most recently served as the General Sales Manager and Business Development for Entercom-Sacramento.

L & L Broadcasting-Portland, OR announces the launch of Rewind 107.9/Savannah-Hilton Head. The New Rewind 107.9 provides Pop Classic Hits from the 70’s and 80’s with a taste of the 60’s.The station is getting underway with 10,000 songs in a row featuring The Beatles, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, Donna Summer, The Bee Gees and more.
