Cumulus announces the appointment of radio industry veteran Paul Agase as VP of Sales for Chicago’s WLS-AM (89 WLS) and WLUP (97.9 FM The Loop). In his most recent position, Agase led sales efforts for Chicago’s CBS-owned WBBM Newsradio as GSM. Agase’s career also includes management positions at Chicago radio stations including WSCR (670 AM The Score), WXRT (93 XRT), WKSC (103.5 KISS FM) and WBBM-FM (B96).

Keola Lui-Kwan is named APD/MD/PM driver at CBS Radio CHR KKHH/Houston. Lui-Kwan had been handling APD duties at Country sister KILT.

Jave Patterson has tendered his resignation as PD at Lotus Radio Corp.'s Active Rocker KDOT and Classic Rock KOZZ/Reno, as well as OM for the Lotus Radio-Reno cluster, effective April 10.

Dave Benson is stepping down as GM/PD at non-comm Triple A WNRN/Charlottesville. The search for his replacement is on and you can submit your stuff to dbenson@wnrn.org.

Scott Laudani joins Classic Hits WFNQ-WNNH/Concord-Nashua for PD duties. Most recently, Laudani was OM/PD for Shamrock Communications stations Alternative WFUZ, Classic Rock WEZX and Sports WEJL/Wilkes Barre-Scranton.

Katie DiMartile has resigned the MD position at Triple A WDST/Woodstock. PD Jimmy Buff will be taking over music calls and you contact him at buff@radiowoodstock.com.

L & L Broadcasting-Portland, OR  flips Alternative WARQ/Columbia to Hot AC with the launch of the new Q93.5, “Columbia’s Hit Music.” Q93.5 will feature the best Hit music from the last 15 years, including, Maroon 5, Pink, Imagine Dragons, Adele, Train, and Katy Perry. L & L Broadcasting Director of Programming, Scott Mahalick added, “With the recent changes in the Columbia radio landscape, there was a clear opportunity for a Hot Adult Contemporary radio station. We’re thrilled to be able to fill the void and deliver the hits in a focused presentation with live and local talent.”

Today, Ryan Seacrest announced that the first of several artists set to perform at KIIS FM/Los Angeles' Wango Tango 2014 is Maroon 5. Each morning this week at 7 a.m., Seacrest will reveal another artist set to perform, unveiling the entire line-up and details on how to get tickets on Friday, March 28th at 7 a.m. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the event.
