CCM+E CHR WFLZ/Tampa welcomes Brody for nights, effective April 7. Brody fills the void left when The Rat & Puff Show segued to CHR sister WIOQ/Philadelphia for afternoons. "This position calls for a unique talent," said Tommy Chuck, PD, CCM+E Tampa Bay. "Brody is wired to entertain and perform 24/7/365 on-air and through social media. He is creative and a little bit crazy, which makes him perfect for this position and I’m confident listeners in his hometown will love hearing him on 93.3 FLZ!”

Auggie 5000 joins CHR KTFM/San Antonio for nights. Auggie, who starts on April 14, most recently handled swing/weekend duties at Rhythmic KKFR/Phoenix.

DJ Freak exits his roll as PD/afternoon host at Rock WYKT/Wilmington, IL, reports Chicago Radio and Media.

Active Rock WMGM/Atlantic City unveiled the Matt & Tess morning show today. The new morning show pairs local favorite Matt Murray with Tess Taylor, who comes on board from Active Rock WRKZ/Columbus.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment and Grupo Radio Centro announce a multi-platform partnership. As part of the agreement, Premiere Networks will provide domestic distribution and ad sales support for El Show del Mandril, one of the most-successful Spanish radio programs in the United States and Mexico, beginning April 14. In addition, CCM+E and GRC will work together to develop additional programming, events and digital opportunities to reach Hispanic audiences. “We are excited to partner with Grupo Radio Centro and El Mandril, who is a tremendous talent with a proven ability to connect with and engage millions of listeners,” stated Bob Pittman, Clear Channel Chairman and CEO. “We look forward to helping grow his loyal following nationwide, in addition to working with Grupo Radio Centro to develop innovative programming and platforms to reach the Hispanic community.”

Premiere Networks has announced that Kerri Kasem, co-host of Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx and The Side Show Countdown with Nikki Sixx, has decided to step down from her hosting duties with the national rock music radio programs. Kasem's decision to leave the programs after more than four years stemmed from the time commitment necessary to join Sixx on the road for Mötley Crüe’s final tour. In addition to her other radio hosting duties, upcoming projects and philanthropic efforts including The Kasem Cares Foundation, Kasem recently started her own business, Good Vapor of Beverly Hills, and is actively lobbying a Visitation Bill that would provide reasonable accommodations for adult children who want to visit their parents, and provide children the right to know when an ailing parent’s health becomes worse or if the parent dies.

FMQB offers condolences to the family and friends of Premiere Networks host and The Blaze founder Glenn Beck on the loss of his father, William "Bill" Beck on March 29.
