CHR WAPE/Jacksonville welcomes Jeremy Gee for nights, effective June 2. Jeremy comes from Indianapolis and has previously worked in Orlando and Miami. “The second I heard Jeremy I knew he was a perfect for 95.1 WAPE. His natural energy is infectious both on-air and on digital media,” said CMG Jacksonville Operations Manager Todd Shannon. “I have seen Jeremy fully engage with some of the biggest stars in the industry with absolutely no fear, and I have no doubt he will take us to new heights at night.”

Urban AC WQMG/Greensboro names Chris Malone as its new APD/afternoon host. Malone most recently served as PD at Urban AC WBZJ/Raleigh.

Entravision Communications Corporation announces the appointment of Carlos Fourzan to SVP of Sales for the Albuquerque, NM market. Fourzan most recently served as VP of Integrated Marketing Solutions for Entravision’s New Mexico market.

Hot AC WPLJ/New York and the entire cast of The Todd Show broadcast live this Friday, May 23rd, from 6-10 a.m. from Jenkinson’s Pavilion in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. For 17 years, WPLJ has kicked off this Memorial Day Weekend tradition with special live performances from the boardwalk. This year’s lineup is Magic!, Hot Chelle Rae, The Fray and Kacey Musgraves. WPLJ will continue the live broadcast all day with Race Taylor (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), followed by John Foxx (3 p.m.-7 p.m.).
