After weeks of speculation, the organizers of Coachella announced that Beyoncé will not perform at Coachella this spring, due to her pregnancy. The Pop superstar announced a few weeks ago that she is pregnant with twins.
In a joint statement, Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment and Coachella promoters Goldenvoice said, "Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding."
Beyoncé was slated to headline the Saturday nights of Coachella on April 15 and 17. It is unknown who will replace her. Radiohead will headline on Friday, April 14 and 21 while Kendrick Lamar tops the Sunday lineups on April 16 and 23.
