March 2, 2017 iHeartRadio has named Kavi Halemane as the General Manager of Digital Programming.
Effective today, Halemane will work closely with iHeartRadio’s marketing, editorial and sales teams to connect music fans, partners and artists with exclusive iHeartRadio Original Stations, playlists and podcasts. He will report to Chris Williams, Chief Product Officer for iHeartRadio, and will oversee a team of expert programmers as well as Bill Cahill, Senior Vice President of Programming and Chris Peterson, Senior Vice President of Podcasting for iHeartRadio.
Previously, Halemane served as the Vice President of Premiere Digital Media where he led the revamp of its digital network, an effort that helped to more than double Premiere’s digital audience in 2016. He also worked as the Executive Vice President and Head of Digital for The Collective, Vice President of Marketing for YouTube, as well as a variety of digital, marketing and product management roles at Interscope Geffen A&M Records.
