The full lineup for the UK's annual Glastonbury festival has been revealed. Headliners Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters and Radiohead were already announced but joining them are Katy Perry, Lorde, The xx, Solange, Major Lazer and many others. Also on board are Run the Jewels, The Flaming Lips, Haim, Alt-J, Phoenix and many, many more. Glastonbury runs June 21-25 in Somerset, England.
The Black Keys singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach will release his second solo album, Waiting on a Song, on June 2. The record will arrive on his own new label, Easy Eye Sound, with distribution via Nonesuch. Lead single "Shine on Me" was released today and features contributions from Mark Knopfler on guitar.
A Perfect Circle continue their comeback by announcing a new deal with BMG. The band, led by Tool singer Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel, are working on their first new album in over a decade. In a statement, Howerdel said, "We just signed a new record deal with BMG! Looking forward to sharing new music with you soon. New APC-2017!" Jon Cohen, EVP of Recorded Music at BMG, said, "We’re thrilled to welcome A Perfect Circle to BMG and excited to present their highly-anticipated new music to the world. Their uncompromising approach, vision and legion of fans have made them one of the most artistic and commercially successful acts in rock."
