KUDL/Sacramento Rolls Outs EndFest 2017
April 17, 2017

Entercom Top 40 KUDL (106.5 The End)/Sacramento continues its summer kick off tradition of 'EndFest,' an all-day pop music extravaganza that brings listeners of the Top 40 hit music station up-close and personal with their favorite chart-topping performers.

This year’s event, scheduled for Sunday, May 14th at Raley Field, will feature live performances from pop music superstars like Halsey, DNCE, Fifth Harmony, Austin Mahone, Noah Cyrus, Alex Aiono and more. The show will also feature guest DJ sets from Sacramento-area DJ’s Billy Lane, Nick G and DJ Peeti-V

"It really doesn’t get any bigger than ‘EndFest’”, said Rayne, KUDL Program Director and Strategic Marketing Manager for Entercom Sacramento. “We have another incredible line up that sets the expectation of Sacramento's summer kick-off tradition and lives up to its slogan, ‘Summer Out Loud’!”, said Rayne.

The first ‘EndFest’ festival took place in front of a sold-out crowd at Hornet Stadium on the Sacramento State University campus in 1999 and featured popular artists at the time like 98 Degrees, Blessid Union of Souls, Shaggy, Tone Loc, The Venga Boys, among others. Since then, ‘EndFest’ has launched careers of many superstar artists including Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, Ke$ha, Flo Rida, Demi Lovato, Enrique Iglesias, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne and others.

“I have so many great memories from EndFests over the years, and all the crazy performances that have happened on the EndFest stages!,” said Christopher K, Assistant Program Director, Music Director and Afternoon Drive On-Air Personality for 106.5 The End. “It’s been a major part of my Sacramento summers for almost 2 decades now, and I think this year’s lineup is definitely one of our best.  Can’t wait for EndFest 2017,” said Chris K.

‘EndFest’ is the first major event put on by ‘The End’ since it moved to its new frequency at 106.5 FM in February after moving off of its old home at 107.9 FM, where it had been since the radio station launched in 1998.
